Revit is BIM software developed by Autodesk, the creator of AutoCAD. With Revit, you can create a complete 3D design and extract perspectives, documentation sheets, schedules and all kinds of data and information associated with model objects from this model, which may be called a virtual building.
Instead of drawing lines that represent a wall, for example, you draw a “real” wall containing information on its height, thickness, components and openings, among other data. Like walls, the slabs, beams, columns, doors, windows and all other objects inserted in the model contain, or can contain, every kind of information about themselves.
As a result, the model is more than a 3D object normally used to automatically obtain plans, sections, elevations and perspectives. It is a complete design database that can be used in software for design coordination, structural and energy-efficiency analysis, cost estimating and construction planning, and building management after completion, to name just a few examples.
By learning Revit, you will be ready to work professionally with one of the most modern methods of conceiving, developing and producing designs in the AEC market: architecture, engineering and construction.
In EBBIM's Revit course, you will learn to model and document an entire building in 3D through every design stage: from configuring a document and drawing accurately sized floors, walls, beams and columns to generating sections, elevations, perspectives and details, creating legends and area plans, extracting quantities and assembling project documentation sheets. By the end, you will have the knowledge needed to develop a complete project in Revit.

Unlocking the Power of AI in ZWCAD
Automating CAD always required a programmer. It no longer does.
This course begins with what ZWCAD already offers as built-in AI — and with the majority of users who have never used it. The deep learning feature finds all identical symbols on a sheet, even at different scales, angles and mirror orientations, converts everything into blocks at once and generates a quantity takeoff table from a drawing that contained no blocks. A messy third-party drawing goes in; a material takeoff comes out.
Then comes the part nobody teaches: making ZWCAD do what it cannot do yet.
You will install an AI skill built for ZWCAD — with the official ZWSOFT documentation built in, including 476 LISP and DCL functions for reference. You describe the problem in everyday language (“I lose 40 minutes fixing the layers in every file I receive from the client”), the AI conducts a short interview to understand what you have not explained and writes the routine: with an options window, built-in help, memory of the last configuration, ESC key handling and undo with a single Ctrl+Z. At no point do you write code — the AI writes it.
And because nobody gets it right the first time, every version comes in test mode: the routine explains what it did and saves a log file that you return to the AI for correction. You approve it when it works the way you want — only then is the final version generated. The course also shows where AI gets things wrong, what in ZWCAD is already native and is not worth automating, and how to choose between distributing your routine as open or protected code. It finishes with 2 hours of live mentoring, where the instructor reviews selected cases from the class — plus a discussion about how the instructor finds and evaluates CAD automation, the channels they follow and what is coming in future versions.
You do not leave with a class example. You leave with your own tool, solving your own problem.
Who it is for
Designers, architects, engineers, surveyors and drafters who use ZWCAD every day, have been doing the same repetitive tasks for years and have never been able to automate them because that required programming. No programming knowledge is required.
What you will be able to do by the end
- Extract quantities from a fully exploded drawing you have received, using the AI already in your ZWCAD
- Turn repeated symbols into countable blocks in batches, without redrawing anything
- Describe a repetitive task and receive ready-to-use automation — with an options dialog, a help button and a Ctrl+Z that undoes everything at once
- Read the log from a test version and return it to the AI for correction — the cycle that really works
- Know when not to automate, because ZWCAD already handles it natively
- Make a clear choice between open or protected code when sharing your routine

Unlocking the Power of AI in SketchUp Pro
Modeling in SketchUp Pro has always been manual work. It no longer is.
This course covers the AI features Trimble has incorporated into SketchUp Pro — AI rendering, an assistant and prompt engineering — and reaches a frontier that, until now, required programming knowledge: the official SketchUp Pro connection with Claude, awarded at Architosh AIA ‘BEST of SHOW’ 2026, in the EMERGENT TECHNOLOGY category.
With it, you go from a dimensioned floor plan or a photo to a structured 3D model: walls, floor, ceiling, doors and windows — organized by floor, tagged by discipline, with doors and windows as countable components whose schedule is generated within the model itself. All in Portuguese, by answering a short interview. At no point do you write code — the AI writes it.
The course also shows where AI fails and what to use instead. No hype: with real tests, credit costs calculated operation by operation and a decision matrix showing which tool suits each project phase.
And it finishes with 2 hours of live mentoring, where the instructor reviews selected cases from the class — plus a discussion with previews of that Trimble is building for future versions.
There is no official connection tutorial in Portuguese. This course is the first.
Who it is for
Architects, interior designers, designers and students who already use SketchUp Pro every day and want to save time in modeling and presentations. No programming knowledge is required.
What you will be able to do by the end
- Generate a professional presentation image from your model, and retouch it instead of generating everything again
- Write better prompts and spend fewer credits to achieve the image you want
- Go from a photo or a dimensioned floor plan to a structured 3D modelthrough conversation
- Deliver a production-ready model: floor-based hierarchy, discipline tags and countable doors and windows
- Receive an automatic warning when the door you requested does not comply with NBR 9050
- Know exactly what each AI operation costs under your plan — and when AI is not the right answer

BIM in Higher Education Teaching Course
The BIM in Higher Education Teaching course aims to show how workflows based on Building Information Modeling (Building Information Modeling, BIM) can be used by teachers as a teaching strategy in their academic activities.
Through theoretical presentations and practical, interactive activities led by Prof. Dr. Architect Mônica Salgado and Prof. Dr. Architect João Gaspar, teachers will learn the fundamentals of BIM object modeling, collaborative work and communication methods integrated with models. Participants will explore methods for assessing designs by manipulating BIM models. This technical and theoretical foundation is expected, for example, to enable teachers to guide students in academic work within a BIM environment.
Beyond operational issues, teachers will be introduced to Brazil's BIM regulatory framework and its connection with the teaching structures of higher education programs related to design and construction. Experiences on seeking technical support and resources to promote BIM use in individual subjects will be shared, along with practical examples from professionals who have already integrated BIM alternatives into their teaching.
At the end of the course, teachers will be encouraged to share their ideas about the content in order to make practical use of what they have learned.
Through structured experiments based on processes and technologies generally underused in academia, the training is intended to encourage teachers to reflect on how Building Information Modeling can be incorporated into everyday undergraduate teaching in an inclusive, socially responsible way aligned with curriculum objectives.

SketchUp Pro for BIM Course
The SketchUp Pro for BIM course shows students how to use SketchUp Pro, one of the world's most popular design programs, within a BIM-based workflow.
We all know SketchUp allows very free, fluid object modeling, which can often lead to the mistaken impression that it has few features or cannot be used efficiently alongside programs such as Revit, ARCHICAD or Vectorworks.
In SketchUp Pro for BIM, you will therefore learn to create objects according to modeling criteria that ensure they open smoothly in other programs.
You will learn to structure models according to IFC versions 2×3 and 4.0.2.1 so they open correctly in design software such as Revit and analysis software such as BIMcollab ZOOM, Solibri and Navisworks. You will also learn to import IFC files modeled in ARCHICAD, Revit and other programs and export quantities from SketchUp Pro models and IFC models imported into SketchUp Pro.
To make the most of collaborative BIM work with SketchUp Pro, you will learn how it interacts with Trimble Connect for model visualization and updates, BCF design notifications and quantity extraction, how to view SketchUp Pro and IFC models on phones and tablets, and much more.
Alongside structuring models in SketchUp Pro and using Trimble Connect's main features, you will learn the basics of SketchUp LayOut for creating sheets with drawings and tables and using annotation tools.

BIM, Courses, João Gaspar Courses, featuredBIM Design Review and Approval Course for Public and Private Entities
The BIM Design Review and Approval Course for Public and Private Entities presents a tried-and-tested method for analyzing and approving BIM models using objective criteria that are easy for both clients and contractors to understand.
This method consists of processes presented in the order in which they should be performed in a real BIM model review and approval context. Instructor João Gaspar carries out the model analysis processes in real time, allowing students to observe their execution, ask questions, discuss and assess differences between traditional CAD-based procurement, traditional procurement using BIM and the method proposed in this course.
Through these activities, participants are encouraged to assess how changes in BIM model analysis and auditing affect BIM-based architecture and engineering procurement, particularly how design and construction should be commissioned and paid for.
By observing and learning from the experiences and discussions presented, students are expected to be ready to take their first steps in preparing BIM Model Audit Plans (PABs), setting guidelines for model review and approval in a contractual context where payments are backed by properly audited and validated BIM models.
The method was developed by Architect MSc João Gaspar, who has spent more than 26 years researching BIM-related tools and processes, developing training and writing books, guides and guidelines on the subject. See some of instructor João Gaspar's work in the “About the Instructor” section.
