The Rosa platform is structured into the following modules:
Home: project configuration and organization
Each project brings together its analysis references, including phases, disciplines, parts, sections, levels, units of measurement, and revision and sequence codes. These records establish the parameters used to organize files and run checks. The project also brings together its participants, with access control for platform tools and operations.
Mercúrio — file connection and organization
Manages connections to document sources, including Google Drive, Trimble Connect, Autodesk Forma, and files stored on the user’s computer or local servers. Rules can be configured to associate files with project dimensions based on file names and folder structure. Monitoring identifies new files and changes in connected sources, helping keep the document set used in analyses up to date. For the firm, this organization establishes the relationship between each file, its discipline, its phase and its delivery.
Cronos — model indicators and evolution
Extracts information from IFC models and presents results in tables and monitoring dashboards. Analyses include the number of elements per IFC class, volumes calculated from geometry, the presence of elements classified as proxies, duplicate identifiers, and property completion according to configured rules. Results can be filtered and compared across deliveries, making it possible to track changes in model composition and information quality indicators. The module also includes charts of clashes and notifications imported from Trimble Connect, and generates PDF reports.
Gaia — georeferencing and level checks
Reads the location, coordinate, elevation, orientation and reference system information in IFC models. These data can be compared with the references registered in the project, and models can be viewed in their geographic context. It also checks model levels against the project records, considering their number, names, elevations and order. These analyses help identify discrepancies in the positioning and floor structure of the received files.
Poseidon — geometric clash analysis
Runs clash tests between elements of the same model or elements of models from different disciplines. Tests can be run individually or in batches, with configurable tolerances, a 3D view of the elements involved and overlap volume calculations. Results include indicators, groups of occurrences and records of saved analyses. PDF and BCF exports make it possible to document clashes and send them into the project coordination and revision process.
In the firm’s daily work, ROSA connects file delivery to the checking process: it organizes sources, extracts data, runs the configured analyses and presents results for consultation and communication. The history makes it possible to assess progress across deliveries and support coordination meetings, revision requests and reports to the client.
Processing preserves the original IFC files. Identified discrepancies are presented to the team so that adjustments can be made in the authoring software, maintaining the distinction between the delivered model and the audit result.
